Lise Fiola Creations began in the quiet places — in moments when the world felt a little too loud.

I found refuge in making. In the rhythm of repetition, the poetry of texture, the balance of shapes, and the simple pleasure of beautiful things.

Years later, my autism diagnosis gave me a new way of understanding these sensitivities. What I once saw as too much — noticing too much, feeling too deeply, needing harmony — I came to recognize as part of my creative language.

And so, little by little, something made for solace became something meant to be shared.

Inspired by French elegance, old-world charm, and the beauty of quiet details, each piece is designed to be more than something lovely to look at. I want it to offer a feeling: a moment of softness, a breath, a little exhale in the middle of an ordinary day.

Through my blog, Awkward Moments, I share the stories behind the pretty things — the imperfect moments, and the realities of navigating life as an autistic woman.

Because beneath every carefully crafted surface is a wonderfully untidy human story.

And perhaps connection is one of the gentlest forms of comfort we have.

Quelques fils de mon histoire

Jewellery-making has been part of my life for nearly 20 years, weaving its way through different chapters of my story.

As a French Canadian, I often find myself thinking of my great-grandmother, who worked as a servant in France. I wonder about the rooms she entered, the lives she witnessed, the stories she carried home in her heart.

Her story quietly inspires my love of French beauty, old-world details, and objects made with care.

And then there is Remi — my son, my right hand, and the friendly face behind our local deliveries. He is an essential part of our little family atelier, stepping in wherever he is needed and keeping everything running smoothly.

A creative soul himself, Remi has a love of music and a natural talent for production. He brings that same curiosity, imagination, and dedication to his art as he does to our family business.
