Lise Fiola Creations began as a way to find calm during periods of overwhelm. Creativity became a refuge — a way to self-regulate, ground myself, and reconnect with a sense of peace.

Working with textures, shapes, repetition, and beauty soothed me in ways words never could. Later, receiving an autism diagnosis helped me understand that my sensitivity, attention to detail, and need for sensory harmony weren't flaws, but strengths that would shape everything I create.

What started as something I made for myself slowly evolved into Lise Fiola Creations — a space where thoughtful, handmade objects could carry calm beyond my own home. Each piece reflects a refined French-inspired elegance, created slowly and deliberately, with materials and forms chosen to feel as good as they look.

Through my blog Awkward Moments, I share the realities behind the beauty — the awkwardness, the growth, and the truth of living as an autistic woman — because connection itself is soothing.

A Few More Things About Me

Jewellery-making has been a part of my life for about 20 years.

As a French Canadian, I often think about my great-grandmother, who worked as a servant in France, and wonder about the life she lived and the things she witnessed. Her story quietly inspires much of what I create.

I’d also love to introduce my son, Remi, the friendly face behind our local deliveries and an essential part of the day-to-day operations of our small family business. As our delivery driver, he helps ensure every order arrives with care and reliability while also stepping in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly. A true multi-creative, Remi has a passion for music and a natural talent for production, bringing the same creativity and dedication to his art that he brings to the family business.
